Beautiful vintage elegant salt cellar with cobalt glass bowl and Norwegian silver spoon. There is an outer bowl of silver plated metal that cobalt glass bowl slides into. It is cut into a very nice filigree pattern. The bottom of the silver bowl is marked WA in a circle with made in England. The spoon is not original to the piece but my mother in law matched them up because they compliment each other so well. The spoon is has an Art Nouveau Design and was made by C. Bergs in Oslo, Norway. This antique spoon was made in early 1900's. The spoon is marked C. Bergs 830 S with a Hallmark. This set would make a lovely wedding gift.

This set is in very good condition but has some tarnish on the silver.

Metzke Pewter is very collectible, it is hand crafted in USA. It is in very good vintage condition. The Santa is has an antique Victorian Christmas feel to it. The Santa is adorned with a crown of holly, holding a pipe with toys in arm, surrounded by a wreath border decorated with Christmas themed ornamentation. Beautiful little antique Derby Silver Plate Victorian hair receiver, hallmarked. This is a really nice little repousse' floral silver plate round hair receiver.

Derby Silver Company made all kinds of silver items, including mirrors, combs, clocks, tableware, flatware, cups, candlesticks, trophies, fruit baskets, dishes and more. The Derby Silver Company sold a more affordable line of plated hollow ware under the popular trademark of the Victor Silver Plate Company. Victor Silver Co. was the economical trade mark of the Derby Silver Company.

"Although rare today, the hair receiver was a common fixture on the dressing tables of women from Victorian times to the early decades of the 20th century. Its purpose was to save hair culled from the hairbrush and comb, which were used vigorously on a daily basis. The hair could then be stuffed into pincushions or pillows. Since hair was not washed as often as it is today, oils were frequently used to add scent and shine to hair. The residual oil made the hair an ideal stuffing for pincushions because it lubricated the pins, making it easier for them to pierce material. Beautiful vintage elegant Condiment Set with mustard pot and salt and pepper shakers with Lusterware porcelain holder made by Chikaramachi. The shakers and mustard pot have a hand painted rose with leaves on the front, so beautiful! The bottom of the holder and the pot are signed "Chikaramachi Hand Painted Made in Japan" with a crown in the middle surround by a wreath. The salt and pepper shakers have their corks, but there is no spoon with the mustard pot.
