Amber glass vanity powder jar, gorgeous Bakelite celluloid top, silky, ornate symmetrical medallion! There are no threads around the opening so the lid is placed on top. There lid is not round, there appears to be cut out for opening the lid, or there is piece missing, I can't tell which. Please examine the picture carefully. This jar is a very nice amber color. It could also be used as a base for a flower arrangement or to hold potpourri, candy or jewelry. A beautiful piece to display.
