Large Matryoshka Nesting dolls set of 15 by Master Ira Ivanovna. The dolls are done in wood burnt technique and hand painted with silver accents. The largest doll is 13'' tall, the smallest doll is 1/2 tall. Each doll has a scene from a fairy tale. The way I read it is, prince meets maiden, they fall in love, get married and have a baby. I could be wrong about my interpretation. The dolls are all so beautiful. The bottom is signed in Russian and reads:
