A vintage Asian standing carved cork diorama depicting a ship with full sails. Encased in ovular glass planes and surrounded by a black lacquered frame. A form of traditional Chinese artwork, the natural cork has been intricately hand carved in the form of a sail boat.
There is overall wear to this piece. One frame's legs have been broken, but it is on the back side of the piece and not noticeable from the front, please see picture 5. There is some overall scuffing and scratching to the black lacquer.
San You (Made in China) - Bottom of frame bears a "San You" manufacturer's sticker.
Measures approx. 9" wide, 2 1/2" deep and 9" tall.
