This exquisite vintage planter or head vase, the Madonna praying in a soft matte blue glaze, is a great example of mid century American pottery. The vase has its original sticker and was made by Haeger. It would be lovely as a centerpiece vase, a pencil holder, a planter (of course), or an addition to your head vase collection.
This planter is in very good condition. It does have a little staining on the inside and two small chips on the glaze on the bottom front; one is hidden underneath, and the other is just a white dot visible in the center front. Note that these might be manufacturing issues. The glaze is just beautiful and has no crackle.
