Beautiful vintage elegant Condiment Set with mustard pot and salt and pepper shakers with Lusterware porcelain holder made by Chikaramachi. The shakers and mustard pot have a hand painted rose with leaves on the front, so beautiful! The bottom of the holder and the pot are signed "Chikaramachi Hand Painted Made in Japan" with a crown in the middle surround by a wreath. The salt and pepper shakers have their corks, but there is no spoon with the mustard pot.

Salt and Pepper: 1 3/4" tall
Mustard Pot: 2" tall with lid
Holder: 6 1/2 Long and 2" wide

The condition of this set is very good vintage condition with no damage, chips, crack or repairs to this set.
Luster ware was made by applying a metallic solution to the surface of a piece of pottery before the final firing. The metals gold, copper, and platinum were chemically dissolved and applied with a brush or by dipping. In the early production, the body was generally a coarse earthenware. Later a porcelain base was sometimes used.
