Vintage souvenir Norwegian wooden wall sign "Hilsen fra Norge" or "Greetings from Norway". The bottom is signed Trollstigen and has a lovely hand painted Seaside Scene. This old wooden sign has been handmade and hand-painted.
This beautiful wooden plaque measures about 8 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide. It was first-owned by Mother in Law who was from Norway. She received it when she was a child visiting her grandmother.
At the top you can see faint writing "Hilsen fra Norge" which means "Greetings from Norway." The plate itself is in good condition with no cracks. However the paint is worn away in a few tiny spots. It is an amazing piece of craftsmanship. This would make a lovely gift for those who love vintage Norwegian scenes and primitive hand-painted wooden treasures.
