A fantastic, German hand carved vintage wooden statue of a drunk holding onto a lamppost. Very detailed, very unique. Beautiful primitive folk art! The wood has been beautifully finished to a smooth matte, it's primitive, but carved with great skill. The artist captured so much expression in his face, and truly, all aspects of his appearance. There are no makers marks or signatures on this piece, but the bottom has a sticker that reads "Urheberrechtlich geschutzt" which translates to copyright protected.
