Does anyone want to play a game of Dominoes with me? This is a beautiful double six (28 tiles) set of the Domino tiles. Each tile measures 2" long and and 3/8" thick. The set is in good vintage condition, could use a good cleaning but I will leave that up to the new owner. I have not been able to identify the material for the dominoes. They are NOT bone or ivory, my husband thinks they are made of porcelain, but I feel it is more likely that they are made of Xylonite or Celluloid.
Domino tiles, also known as bones, are twice as long as they are wide and usually have a line in the middle dividing them into two squares. The value of either side is the number of spots or pips. In the most common variant (Double Six) the values range from blank or 0 (no pips) to 6.[6]
