Antique Teapot | Landers Frary and Clark | Universal Tea Ball Tea Pot | Built|In Infuser by DerBayzVintage

34.99 USD

A 1910s antique teapot, the Universal Tea Ball Tea Pot by Landers, Frary, & Clark. The teapot, which is most likely silver plate, features a built-in tea infuser that sits inside the lid. A chain mechanism that runs through the lid handle either holds the infuser up from the water, or drops it in to brew the tea. The underside of the pot is marked “Universal, Tea Ball – Tea Pot, Landers Frary & Clark, New Britain Conn.” The teapot is in overall worn, but good condition. There’s some wear to the plating, and the inside shows signs of having had tea left inside too long. However, there are no dents and the infuser chain mechanism works well. A very neat old piece!

The teapot measures about 6” in diameter at its widest, 9.5” from handle to spout, and 7.75” tall.
