Antique Uncle Sam's Cash Store Register, Toy Cash Register by Durable Toy Co. NYC. It is hard to find these toy registers with their original decals. At the top of the register you will find nostalgic scenes from a general store and the front of the drawer reads "Cash Store Register" with two kids playing with a cash register. Five keys are marked from $1 down to 5 cents and when the key is pressed a bell rings and mechanical release on the drawer opens it. Monetary amounts engraved on buttons and pop up in windows when presses. Each of the mechanical releases work but in order to close the drawer, you have to lift button while closing it. Considering the age, I think it is functioning well.
Measures approx. 5" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 4 3/4" tall.
Good vintage condition with scuffs, scratches, a little rust and some loose of paint. Needs a good cleaning!
