Nice vintage Hefe Weizen Aviator Ale wooden beer tap handle. The tap handle is made of solid wood in the shape of a pilot with goggles on his head. This is an item that when you see it, you say "OMG what is that!" and need a closer look! There is a brass fitting at the bottom that screws into the actual tap mechanism. These retro, vintage beer tap handles are very collectible and can bring back memories of fun times. If you collect Aviator Ale beer taps you will notice that my tap label is similar but different from tradition Aviator Ale labels. When you factor in the long white Aviator Ale label on the base of my tap, it suggests to me that this tap is real, and it's possibly one of only a few made, maybe even a prototype.
