Vintage Ruby Red Open Candy Dish, Avon
This ruby red open candy dish was manufactured by Avon in the 1970s. Beautiful rich ruby red color with pressed glass sandwich pattern.
Avon began making this pattern in the 1975 and stopped manufacturing in 1992 and finally discontinued it in 1993. The Avon Reproduction Sandwich Glass was made by early American pressed glass process called "Sandwich." The patterns used lacy intricate designs with fine background stippling and a sparkling brilliance that reflected craftsmanship.
Measurements 3 1/4" tall
Vintage Excellent - no flaws noted, no chips, scratches, or cracks noted. Previously used item, normal wear for age and use.
