Stunning Faberge style egg inspired by the 1898 Lily of the Valley Faberge Egg. This sparkling egg is adorned with clear crystals and high-polished enamel with golden trim. It opens on a detached hinge and has a magnetic closure to keep the box securely shut. This porcelain egg keepsake box would be perfect for a jewelry box or trinket box. Egg history:

The Lilies of the Valley Egg is a jeweled Faberge egg made under the supervision of the Russian jeweler Peter Carl Faberge in 1898 by Faberg� ateliers.
The supervising goldsmith was Michael Perchin.

The egg is one of the two eggs in the Art Nouveau style. It was presented on April 5 to Tsar Nicholas II, who gave it as a gift to the Tsaritsa, Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna. It is part of the Victor Vekselberg Collection, owned by The Link of Times Foundation and housed in the Faberg� Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
