Mala are traditional Buddhist prayer beads that are used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths taken while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name. This Mala is made with Red Tiger’s Ege and frosted black beads. Tiger Eye is believed to pacify the Kapha Dosha bringing balance to the mind and body. Using Tiger Eye during meditation can aid in alleviating depression.
This 108-bead, hemp cord Mala is made up of 54 6mm natural Red Tiger’s Eye beads and 54 frosted black glass beads. The prayer beads are accented by a small, metal Buddha bead, and a small handmade silver capped gold terylene tassel.
Measures 20 without the tassel and 22 1/2 with the tassel.
