This is a VINTAGE West Germany beer stein stoneware jar with lid. The jar can be used as a cookie jar, hot cider barrel or Tureen for Gluehwein or hot chocolate. Gluehwein is a German hot wine traditionally served at Christmas. The jar in very good shape with no nicks or cracks or chips. This set was probably made in the 1950s or prior judging by the design. This would make a great house warming present, or man cave item.
Measures appox. 4" tall without lid, 5 1/2" tall with lid and 6 1/4" wide
