It Has a Lever Along With The Music Box Winder, But The Lever Allows You To Easily Start and Stop The Music. (Really Nice Because The Plate Will Hang On A Wall.) Any Little Girl Would Love It, Also Would Make a Nice Baby Shower Gift! The Plate Is Collectible So It Will Always Be Worth Something, Possibly More In The Future.
